Okay so now that I am keeping up on this blog thing, one may start to wonder why I couldn't do it before..Well, I have been working on making some signs and have been making our own stencils as we go along. Here are a few that I finished today, I have more drying. I like the "Dozer" one for a little boys' room, but I needed to center it a little better, who knows, maybe someone will love it. I have not fallen in love with the burgandy or brown that I am using, so I think I am going to buy some different ones. The "Papa's Shop" sign is so far my favorite and I am going to make a few more but change the bottom saying. I have the stencils, "Grandchildren Only and Grandchildren Welcome" I think these will be really cute for Father's Day coming up in June. I am getting together ideas for Mother's Day and if you have any sayings that you remember as a child, I would love to hear your suggestions. Love to all~Bran

Dalton and Basketball
Well, while I don't have any pictures of him playing, the camera doesn't like the lighting in the gyms of schools, I will tell you that it has been so fun to watch him play. They have played two games and won both. I guess the JV team from last year only won 2 games and lost 8, we'll see how things go tomorrow night when he has another game.
I really enjoy the games and since things are always movin' its an easy game to keep your attention. The younger two boys are a handful since sitting still is not as easy for them as I wish it was. They keep me pretty busy during the games, but they sure are proud of their big brother! They yell for him and clap... not near as loud as I do, but hey, it's the best kind of free fun there is, watching your kid play ball and being there to cheer him on. I can't really say it any other way.... I just am so proud of him!!! I am also very thankful I get to be there to cheer him on and share the memories! I'm sure at some point I will become the "embarressing mother" but he says so far, he can't hear me... ;o) So, so far so good!
Better get the little ones to bed... nite!

More winter and we're lovin' it!!!
While most of the world is ready for some warmth, we really enjoy the fun that the snow can bring. It keeps Daddy home longer (since he can't get out because of our big hill being too slippery), the kids actually are willing to go outside and it's just plain BEAUTIFUL!
Hope everyone who does have to deal with it in ways that aren't as fun as us, that you stay safe and enjoy it as much as possible.

Another hobby besides scrapbooking
Well, I mentioned I had started making country/primitive signs with my neighbor, Christy. I thought I would just share a few pictures of a few that we have made. We have had a few sell already at Oh Baby, Children's and Women's clothing store in Enumclaw. We have recieved 4 requests for custom orders and I just spoke with another store owner right down the road from us and she is excited to get our signs in her store. WHOO -HOOO! I'm pretty excited. Thanks for looking! Smiles~ Bran

Hello again! Yes, we're still here!

Okay so December, January and almost all of February are gone... what the heck? Time flies! Anyways, in the last two months we had Christmas, Casey Lynne turned 10, I started making custome country/primitive wooden signs with my neighbor, I am still having scrapbooking classes every week here at the house and Dalton is playing basketball for the middle school! We even had my sister, Steven (her boyfriend) and our nephew Jeffrey here for about a week and a half. They just left on Tuesday for Alaska. It was so hard to say goodbye to them, I miss them all very much , our home is different without them, quiet... I know them going there was a blessing and a fresh start to a new life as a family. I am so greatful and excited for them, but to have my "baby" sister so far away and for the first time realizing how much closer I am to her than I ever imagined, it pulls on my heart. Yesterday was the first time I got off the phone with her without getting choked up every time I talked... although now that I am writing about her, I have tears. So to get a pic or two up for now (since I should be sleeping) I will upload a pic or two of Jeffrey. I will get back here tomorrow and add more of our kids'. I also am loading pictures of cards I have made in the last month or so on my other blog. I finally spent some time taking pictures of all my creations and I really am excited to share. Nite and love to all! Brandy
