A Buzymama's Creations

I am working on a blog for all my classes and projects that I make. I think it will be fun to keep them seperate but a little something for the fun stuff I spend my time doing. I love to make any paper project I can and I have had so much fun with having 2 page scrapbooking classes at my house every Thursday. I cannot thank the faithful girls enough who come every week to spend time working on their pages and with me. I truely love that time we get together, thank you for sharing it with me! I'll let you know as soon as I have things posted to the other blog, hopefully in just the next day or two.

Where does all the time go?

Well, I'm trying to figure out what happened to October and November... time flies when you want it to stand still and it stands still when you are ready for it to pick up. The kids are doing really well in school. Big Ben is working at both companies still and enjoying the slower pace a little. His trip to Montana in October was amazing. We had alot of our meat made into pepperoni, its wonderful! The trip has got us considering taking a family "vacation" over there within the next few years. I have so many things to catch up on that it will take a little while, but I promise to get everyone up to speed with the Heards.

Bathroom changes

Well, I actually didn't wait until honey was off on his hunting trip to paint or change something. The color is a hard one to explain and even the picture doesn't get it quite right, but its on its way to being just the way I want it. I am also in the middle painting the office, laundry room and the main living space on the main floor. I am doing this in sections since its such a large area, but the flat paint and my patience are not able to work together anymore, IT HAS TO GO! As much as no one loves to wash walls, I look forward to the option with the walls being repainted.

Anyways, just thought I would share!

September 2008

Well, its September and its starting to feel a little crisp in the mornings already. This is truly my favorite time of year and not just because the kids go back to school. The weather invites you to stay indoors and play games with the kids, warm up at night by the fire, baking with family and friends, and watch all the beautiful fall colors come into view everywhere!

On Tuesday we started school, Benjamin Jr. is off to kindergarten, Casey Lynne to 4th, and Dalton is in the 7th grade already! Chase starts preschool on Monday the 8th.

Dalton is trying out for the school baseball team, he has had practice everyday since the 1st day of school, we'll keep you updated on how that goes.

Benjamin is being so independent, he didn't want me to drive him on the first day, he wanted to ride the bus with his big sister. I met them at school after they got on the bus, they were so excited to see their friends. I soon realized that my little man only needed me to remind him of how much I loved him, that it was going to be a great day and that I would be at the bus stop waiting for him with Chase. Other than that, he was just ready to start this adventure of learning and growing up a little more. I am so excited for all of them.

Chase is pretty bummed that he hasn't started preschool yet, but he knows that it's only a few more days until its his turn.

I could go on and on about each one of the kids, it just feels like we are getting into such a different part of our life, so many things are changing and its just plain exciting all the way around.

Dalton is growing up so much faster than I had realized until he recently passed me up in height this summer, he's over 5'8'' and hasn't hit that growth spurt yet, LOL! I have had the chance to see him start to mature in his thinking and decision making and yet, there are times he is still such a "little" kid. I am proud to say he isn't "too cool" to give me hugs and tell me he loves me in front of his friends, unlike a lot of the kids he hangs out with. He is really excited about school and baseball.

Miss Casey Lynne, WOW! That's almost all I can say right now. I love her to death and yet as some of you know, I joke she will be the death of me (she's smart and sneaky)! I had to step back though when I took their 1st day of school pictures, what a little lady she is turning into, I see how she looks like me in ways and yet she is her own person. She really is so beautiful and I had to ask her if she had on any make up (which is not allowed) her cheeks were so rosy and her lips were a deep red...just lip gloss though, she is a very beautiful little girl that is growing up fast.

Benjin is just plain excited to be growing up. He has gotten so tall and looks so much like his Grandma Judy and Daddy.

Chaser is still the charmer in the family. He hams up the looks and gets all the love he can. He loves to talk to strangers and brighten up anyone's day who will talk back to him. He likes to make jokes and funny faces to get people laughing. Those blue eyes still melt my heart everyday and the dimples just top it off.

Better close, I am off to build forts with Lincoln Logs! Hope you enjoy all the pictures!

Benjamin Jr.'s 6th Birthday

Mr. Dalton having a blast on the quad track
Benjin riding on a mini dirt bike for the first time,
He LOVED it!!!
Chaser driving his friend Zach's quad
Benjin and his Yellow OEM Truck
Angie and Great Grandma Wisner

What a day! Our little man is 6 and on his way to school in 1 month! In the large picture time does go very quickly... but at this point with all the kids and their friends, I am running like crazy in every direction and ready for school to start again so I can think a bit more clearly a few more hours a day!

Benjin had a wonderful day! He had family and friends there, beautiful weather, and his yellow truck cake. He wanted a dump truck cake at first and then early last week I think it was, it changed to a Yellow OEM work truck, just like his Daddy's. Amazing to me how someone who is gone so much (working his tail off) gets to have all the admiration. Oh well, truth is, in this house its not really anything new. These younger boys love their Daddy very much and he has always been at a level with them that is pretty special. If something is broke, they just know their Daddy can fix it, no matter what!
Benjamin got some pretty cool toys and new clothes... he is excited to wear them to school!
Thank you so much everyone.
After the birthday party had kinda ended, the quads came out and what a dusty afternoon it turned out to be. Benjin drove a mini dirt bike for the first time and Chaser drove a 50. (He wasn't very willing to share either)
Dalton had a blast play with his cousins, Jordan and Justin. Its been a while since they were here, so they played EXTRA hard!
Miss Casey had fun with her good friend Desirea, those two have a magnet for each other when they ride quads, not once that I can think of have they not wrecked at least once into each other.
Well, better end today and get some rest, I'm sure tomorrow will have its own new adventure!
Much love to all!
Bran

My favorite pic from Ocean Shores

OOPS AGAIN! I forgot one of my favorite pictures.. sorry, this picture uploading has had it moments when its gone fast and times I have had to try 4-5 times...UGH!

Anyways, as promised, all the men in my life....together in the ocean.

Merlino Company Picnic

After spending time at Papa's on Saturday for a birthday party, we were off to Lake Sammamish on Sunday for Ben's company picnic. It was fun and the kids spent most of the time in the water. Benjin and Chaser were like little fish with their life jackets. We have been in swim lessons for the last few weeks, they are starting to really enjoy it. Dalton and Casey were pretty adventurous with the water slide and diving board.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the weather... truly beautiful!

Ocean Shores pictures

Okay so the pictures were having trouble uploading, I'm giving it another shot! sorry for the delay in trying again.

Up next pictures of the kids and Daddy swimming in Lake Sammamish for his company picinic.

Ocean Shores together

Well, I'm gonna try this pic posting part. We took off to the ocean onthe 5th of July. It was a great time. Its been a while since we went somewhere as a family. Daddy works a lot between our OEM company and his regular job at Gary Merlino. The day turned out to be pretty nice. It was raining on our way down, I laughed and told Dalton and Casey, at least this trip wouldn't be easy to forget... raining on the way to the ocean in July!
Casey and Daddy went out there a ways in the ocean together. He showed her how fun it was to jump the waves and keep walking. She was happy to see it doesn't get that deep very quickley. The younger 2 had fun just playing in the sand and waiting for the waves to finally catch them. Everyone in this family is so facial expressive (get that from me, duh! LOL!) Dalton is just growing up so fast. He walked the beach alone and then sang and did a little dance here and there... there was never a dull moment. (never really is) It was fun to see everyone laughing and having fun together.
I will include my favorite pic of the day, I caught all 4 of the men in my family holding hands together while standing in the water. It was to help Benjin and Chaser not be scared, but to this mama and wife, it was so much more. I hope they always find a way to come back to each other and be linked with their hearts forever. (mushy I know..sorry)

Lets get this thing started !

Hi everyone!
Well, so funny to get an email stating my dear sister-in-law was doing a family blog, I started one for my cards, scrapbooking and any other fun little projects I make. I think I will keep these two seperate. I think this is a great way to just keep the pics going and the fun daily adventures up to date.
I am going to try and upload some pictures of our last few adventures and see if I can figure this thing out!
Look forward to hearing from you all!
